It appears Joan of Arcadia has fallen out of favor with the man upstairs. CBS, which unveiled its fall schedule today, has canceled the struggling sophomore drama. The Eye network has also axed six-year-old Judging Amy, embattled newsmag 60 Minutes Wednesday and the Jason Alexander sitcom Listen Up. In fact, the only "bubble" show to win a stay of execution was perennial punch-line Yes, Dear. Among CBS' new shows are Ghost Whisperer, a drama starring Jennifer Love Hewitt as a newlywed who talks to the dead (see Medium, minus the crime-solving); Flesh & Blood, a sitcom about a family of single doctors, starring Stockard Channing and Henry Winkler; the Jenna Elfman comedy Everything I Know About Men; and the military drama The Unit, starring 24's Dennis Haysbert. Wait — who's gonna help Jack Bauer save the freakin' world next season!?!?!? (For a closer look at CBS's new lineup, click here.)
