Erin (Ellie Kemper) got the happy ending she had always wanted when she was reunited with her birth parents on The Officeseries finale.

But early in Season 9, Dunder Mifflin's receptionist had a very different set of hopes and dreams, namely, becoming a newscaster. After Clark (Clark Duke) hit on Erin by lying about an upcoming audition to be a newscaster, Andy (Ed Helms) takes the bait and — in true-Andy fashion — goes a little too far.

The Office and more shows we lost this season

In this never-before-seen deleted scene from the episode "Roy's Wedding," Andy holds a conference meeting to encourage everyone to help Erin get her confidence up before her big audition. "I want her to feel very comfortable in her very sexy skin, so everybody say something that you like about her body," Andy tells the group. Not an awkward assignment at all, right?

The deleted scene is just one of many featured on The Office: Season Nine DVD, which hits stores on Tuesday, Sept. 3. The DVD and Blu-ray for the NBC comedy's farewell season also includes never-before-seen audition tapes from 2003, a video of the finale table read and a series retrospective featuring the cast.

So who likes Erin's hips? How far is Erin willing to go to get the gig? And, most importantly, who at Dunder Mifflin has a thing for Walter Cronkite? Watch the exclusive clip below:
