Nadya Suleman, better known as Octomom, is now facing a new charge of welfare fraud, CNN reports.

The latest charge alleges that Suleman received $10,000 in MediCal benefits that she was not entitled to. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office is seeking $26,000 in restitution.

Octomom Nadya Suleman charged with welfare fraud

Suleman was previously charged with one count of aid by misrepresentation and two counts of perjury by false application for aid after she allegedly failed to report nearly $30,000 in earnings from January to June in 2013.

She filed for bankruptcy in May, but the case was thrown out because of paperwork issues.

Suleman previously pled not guilty to the other three charges. She's expected to return to court on March 11 for arraignment. If convicted on all four counts, she could face more than six years in jail.
