Nikita fans won't have to wait long to find out where their favorite cleaner has been once The CW action-drama returns this fall.

The series' Comic-Con panel kicked off Thursday with the confirmation that Devon Sawa, who plays Owen, will return to Season 3 as a series regular. "Owen is going to come back in the fourth episode," creator Craig Silverstein said. "We're going to answer the question, 'Where the hell was Owen? Why didn't he participate in the raid on Division? Does he still think some Guardians are alive and he's chasing them in Europe?' He's going to come back with a mystery, he comes back with an agenda, all the good Owen stuff."

Now that Nikita (Maggie Q) killed off main villain Percy (Xander Berkeley) last season in the finale, the revamped Division will be dealing with a rotating group of bad guys, unofficially known as The Dirty Thirty. After Percy's death, the international Division agents were recalled, but 30 of them decided to remove their kill chips and go rogue, which is where Nikita & Co. -- including Owen -- come in to retrieve them.

"The bad guy in our first episode back is going to be played by [Jeffrey] Pierce," Silverstein announced. Pierce had played Jack Sylvane, one of the '63s, the inmates who had mysteriously disappeared on Fox's recently canceled series Alcatraz.

The third season of Nikita premieres Friday, Oct. 19 at 9/8c on The CW.
