It's No Surprise That Now Nicolle Wallace Is Leaving The View

That's three new co-hosts gone this year

It's been a tough time for The View, which is losing yet another co-host. Nicolle Wallace will also be taking her leave of the Hot Topics table, Variety reports.

While Wallace will no longer be a regular co-host, ABC has reportedly offered her a contract to appear as a contributor on occasion, though she has yet to decide if she'll continue in such a role.

Wallace joined The View as the token Republican voice in September, but hasn't been as outspoken or dissenting with her political issues as former co-host Elizabeth Hasselbeck. Furthermore, Wallace has admitted her own lack of knowledge on celebrity topics, which is bread and butter to the talk show.

Rosie Perez is leaving The View (really, this time)

Wallace is the third co-host to leave the show this season, after Rosie O'Donnell left in February, citing health concerns and wanting to spend time with family, and last week, when the show announced that Rosie Perez would also be leaving.

Though The View did add comedian Michelle Collins to the roster for next season along with Raven-Symone, Paula Faris and Candace Cameron-Bure are reportedly in talks to fill the remaining two chairs.
