Who is he playing?

Ryan Murphy has the Hollywood cred to assemble just about any cast he wants, so it makes sense that for his upcoming Fox series Scream Queens, he'd pick someone who was very familiar with the shrieks of women.

The latest big name to join the horror-comedy hybrid is former teen heartthrob Nick Jonas, the musician-actor who rose to the big time as part of the sibling act The Jonas Brothers. Jonas will appear in a recurring role, the details of which have not been revealed. We'd love it if he played a killer, but we'd be equally intrigued if he also played a hapless victim.

2015 SAG Awards: red carpet arrivals

Jonas, the youngest of the three Jonas brothers at 22, was added to a cast that already boasts original scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Joe Manganiello, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Ariana Grande and Keke Palmer.

The series is yet another Murphy anthology, with the first season set at a college campus plagued by a series of murders.Scream Queens is scheduled to debut this fall on Fox. Murphy also has the anthology American Crime Story: The People v O.J. Simpson in the works at FX.

Jonas currently stars in the DirecTV mixed-martial arts drama Kingdom.

What role do you think Jonas will play on the series?
