Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Nicholas Brendon will be returning to The Dr. Phil Show on Tuesday after walking off the set in August, Peoplereports.

During his original interview in August, he accused host Phil McGraw of going "for the jugular, talking about some of my recent mistakes, with no build up," when trying to discuss his history with substance abuse. "I felt that he wanted me to lay the darkest parts of myself on national TV right from the start, and I'm not willing to do that," the actor said at the time.

Buffy star Nicholas Brendon arrested over domestic dispute

In a preview of the upcoming episode, Brendon seems to accept McGraw's intervention, saying that he "[feels] a lot better than I did last time...I think I need more help than I realized." Of course, McGraw then asks if Brendon had been drunk during his previous visit, but you'll have to tune in to find out how the actor reacts to the question.

Take a look at the preview below.

Brendon has been arrested four times in 2015, most recently for an alleged domestic altercation in October. He has also been in rehab multiple times this year for issues stemming from alcoholism and substance abuse.
