The holocaust drama The Pianist was the big winner at Saturday's National Society of Film Critics awards, scoring trophies for best picture, director (Roman Polanski), actor (Adrien Brody) and screenplay (Ronald Harwood). Other victors included Diane Lane (best actress for Unfaithful), Christopher Walken (best supporting actor for Catch Me If You Can) and Patricia Clarkson (best supporting actress for Far From Heaven).
