New Kids on the Blockis heading to Fuller House, and for some of the cast members it was an episode they've been wanting to happen for 30 years.

Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber, who play roommates Stephanie Tanner and Kimmy Gibbler respectively on the revival, talked to TVGuide.com about what it was like to have the supergroup on set and what it was like to finally meet the guys.

Fuller House Season 2 trailer: Is Stephanie's new love interest...Kimmy's brother?!

According to Sweetin, Barber and her co-star Candace Cameron Bure had the hardest time keeping it together when the New Kids were around. That makes total sense since both Kimmy and DJ have been hardcore fans of the group since the show's first iteration began in the late 80s. Having the boy band on set is their teenage dream come true, so who wouldn't fangirl out a bit?

If you're wondering how the New Kids on the Block end up at the Tanner house though, that answer is also pretty believable. A Stephanie and Kimmy gaffe will force the girls to go to big lengths to save DJ's birthday. Luckily, the boys are in town and they perform a massive coup to get them to come wish DJ a happy day.

Are you excited to see the boys in action?

Fuller House Season 2 premieres Dec. 9 on Netflix.
