On Monday's "After the Final Rose" special of The Bachelorette, host Chris Harrison made the big announcement that Juan Pablo, one of Desiree's suitors who was eliminated in Week 6, would be the next lucky man to have 25 women vying for his love.

Ladies, your next star of The Bachelor is Juan Pablo Galavis!

On Monday's "After the Final Rose" special of The Bachelorette, host Chris Harrison made the big announcement that Juan Pablo, one of Desiree's suitors who was eliminated in Week 6, would be the next lucky man to have 25 women vying for his love.

"If we have a fan favorite right now it's Juan Pablo," Harrison told TVGuide.com early on in the season. "He's actually a really good guy and Des loves her some Juan Pablo. The question that she doesn't really care to answer right now is, 'Is there more to this guy than his accent and body?'"

Galavis, 32, is a former professional soccer player from Venezuela who also has a 4-year-old daughter. He becomes the third single parent to star in the franchise after Jason Mesnick and Emily Maynard. Although viewers haven't learned too much yet about our sexy new Bachelor, TVGuide.com users certainly were behind the decision. In our recent poll, Galavis received over 40 percent of the votes.
