Would lukewarm reviews keep Netflix from renewing its new animated comedy BoJack Horseman? Neigh!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the streaming-video service has renewed the cartoon just days after all 12 episodes of Season 1 debuted on Friday. The Season 2 order is for a dozen more episodes.

BoJack Horseman follows a former 1990s sitcom star who has fallen on hard times and is caught in a downward spiral of alcoholism and self-destruction. He also happens to be a horse. Will Arnettleads a star-studded voice cast as the title character, with Emmy winner Aaron Paul playing BoJack's human pal Todd and Amy Sedaris playing BoJack's agent and ex-girlfriend who's also a cat. Alison Brie and Paul F. Tompkins are also part of the cast.

Netflix appears to be a cushy place to create a TV series. The up-and-coming network has been awfully forgiving with its original programming, renewing more niche-friendly projects like BoJack Horseman and Hemlock Grove alongside the higher-profile House of Cards, and the critically acclaimed Orange Is the New Black.

Are you excited for more BoJack Horseman?
