The two dramas are the first CBS prime-time programs to be picked up for the 2010-11 season.

NCIS: Los Angeles, a spin-off of top-rated NCIS, is the No. 1 new program of the season with an average of 16.8 million viewers and a rating of 3.8 in the 18-to-49 demo. The Good Wife attracts an average of 13.7 million viewers and a 3.0 rating among 18-to-49-year-olds.
