NBC WINGS IT

The West Wing fans will have to wait another week to catch the White House drama's holiday-themed episode. Due to its coverage of Vice President Al Gore's concession speech, as well as Texas Gov. George W. Bush's acceptance speech, NBC pre-empted original episodes of West Wing and Law & Order, opting to run them next week instead. Over at the WB, Felicity continued its winning ways. Airing opposite Gore's farewell in most of the country, the acclaimed drama's winter cliffhanger episode finished a strong fourth place in its 9 pm timeslot, besting the final episode of Fox's defunct soap The Street. Notes Mediaweek's Marc Berman: "When little-heroine-that-could Felicity returns with her next batch of original episodes in April, expect the momentum to continue to build."
