NBC has renewed Hollywood Game Nightfor a second season, the network announced Tuesday.

Based on executive producer Sean Hayes' real-life game nights, the series is hosted by Jane Lynch and features celebrities teaming with contestants for a once-in-a-lifetime night of fun.

"Hollywood Game Night allows the audience to take a seat on the couch next to their favorite celebrities and enjoy the pandemonium and exuberance of the colorful cast of celebrities in each episode," NBC's President of Alternative and Late Night Programming, Paul Telegdy, said in a statement. "Jane and her friends know how to throw a party and we're thrilled viewers have come to play too."

Among the celebrities who appeared on the first season include Amy Poehler, Kal Penn, Felicity Huffman and Kristin Chenoweth.

The 10-episode second season will likely return next summer.
