Mindy Kaling has scored some high-profile talent to guest-star on her new Fox comedy, The Mindy Project.

Three NBA players — New York Knick Amar'e Stoudemire, Indiana Pacer Danny Granger, and free agent Baron Davis — will play themselves in the show's fourth episode, Entertainment Weeklyreports.

Kaling's character, a gynecologist, goes to a nightclub with her co-workers and winds up in the VIP section with the trio, according to the report.

Fox's The Mindy Project adds three new cast members

The athletes won't be the only guys Mindy's hanging around with. The show also announced this week that it has added a love interest for Kaling's character. Tommy Dewey (Step Up Revolution) has been cast in the role, according to TV Line. He'll play Josh Daniels, "a successful lawyer who isn't afraid to go after things he likes when he sees them."

The Mindy Project premieres Sept. 25 at 9:30/8:30c.
