The Good Wife's debt-ridden law firm of Lockhart/Gardner has a new financial overseer this season. "He's a court-appointed trustee named Clark Hayden, brought in to clean up the financial mess," says Nathan Lane (with Julianna Margulies and Christine Baranski), who, starting with the September 30 premiere, will make several appearances as the "rather cryptic, humorless, slightly repressed, socially awkward gentleman."
Hayden, a budget-cutting irritant who clashes with honchos Diane and Will, "is an interesting puzzle to figure out," adds Lane. "This is an ideal job, a lovely crew, a cast of brilliant actors and superb writers. I'm a fan of the show and I'm thrilled to be here!"
