Is everybody still breathing after that new Nashville trailer, or did some of you pass out from excitement?

During tonight's CMT Music Awards, Nashville dropped a massive trailer for its final run of episodes, with a tease so cruel (and yet so amazing) fans were left reeling. In its final seconds, the trailer honed in on Deacon (Charles Esten) sitting on his bed, gazing up at a blurry figure that sure as heck looked a lot like Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton).

It's impossible to distinguish whether it's actually Rayna or not -- go ahead and freeze frame it, we've already tried -- but Deacon's awestruck line "Is this real?" all but confirms that at least he thinks it's her.

If it is, we're obviously entering dream and/or hallucination territory as Rayna died in Season 5, but at this point we'll take it! We've missed Rayna so dearly this season, and it feels right to have her return in one way or another as the show comes to a close.

The trailer held more than just that huge surprise though. It also revealed that Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) is pregnant (and being held hostage in South America), Deacon's long, lost father Gideon (Ronny Cox) will try to reunite with his son, Scarlett's (Clare Bowen) about to have a very scary run-in with Sean (Jake Etheridge) and a loaded gun, and love triangle woes are on the way for Avery (Jonathan Jackson) and Gunnar (Sam Palladio).

Nashville returns Thursday, June 7 at 9/8c on CMT.
