The music world lost two biggies on Friday, when both Luther Vandross, the Grammy-winning R&B crooner, and Renaldo "Obie" Benson, a member of the legendary Motown singing group The Four Tops, passed away. Vandross, 54, had suffered numerous health problems, pneumonia included, since his 2003 stroke. Funeral services for Vandross will be held Wednesday and Thursday in New York City, and a memorial service is planned for Friday. Benson, 69, was felled by lung cancer.
