Justin Timberlake, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis Lead MTV VMA Nominations

Justin Timberlake and the duo of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis lead this year's MTV Video Music Award nominations with six apiece. Timberlake's "Mirrors" and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop" will compete against Bruno Mars' "Locked Out of Heaven," Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" and Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble," for the top prize, Video of the Year.

Justin Timberlake and the duo of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis lead this year's MTV Video Music Award nominations with six apiece.

Timberlake's "Mirrors" is also up for Best Male Video, Best Pop Video and Best Editing, while his collaboration with Jay-Z on "Suit & Tie" is nominated for Best Collaboration, and Best Direction. Macklemore and Lewis' single "Thrift Shop" is up for Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Cinematography, Best Direction. The group's "Can't Hold Us" featuring Ray Dalton is up for Best Editing and "Same Love" received a nod for "Best Video with a Social Message."
