Viewers will have more time to find Carter. MTV has given a Season 2 renewal to its new coming-of-age tale Finding Carter, which stars Kathryn Prescott as a teenager who discovers she was abducted as a child.
MTV ordered 12 more episodes of the show, which is currently airing its first season and averaging 2.2 million viewers (including DVR playback within the first three days of air). According to MTV, Finding Carter is this year's No. 1 new cable series with its target 12-to-34-year-old demo.
"The creative minds behind Finding Carter did an exceptional job bringing this story to life and drawing our audience in," says MTV programming president Susanne Daniels.
Finding Carter also stars Cynthia Watros, Alexis Denisof and Anna Jacoby-Heron. The show airs Tuesdays at 10/9c. On this week's episode, Carter and Taylor (Jacoby-Heron) discover that Elizabeth (Watros) is having an affair, and force her to come clean.
