Mr. Robot: What Is Stage 2?

In this week's Mr. Robot, Darlene (Carly Chaikin) made the shocking discovery that her boyfriend Cisco (Michael Drayer) had been spying on her for the dangerous hacker collective the Dark Army, who revealed that they're about to enter an ominous-sounding "Stage 2." Stage 2 was previously mentioned by Dark Army leader Whiterose (BD Wong) as an alternate course of action when Evil Corp. CEO Phillip Price (Michael Cristofer) wasn't doing what she wanted.

So what is Stage 2? Does it have to do with Ecoin, the supposedly secure digital currency Evil Corp. is encouraging people to use in the wake of 5/9? Or does it mean the Dark Army will be feeding information about fscociety to the FBI?
