TV and film producer-director Bruce Paltrow, the father of Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow and husband of actress Blythe Danner, has died of complications from pneumonia, Entertainment Tonight reports. He was 58. According to ET, Paltrow died in Italy while on vacation with Gwyneth, who was celebrating her 30th birthday. Danner, meanwhile, was in Los Angeles shooting her CBS drama series Presidio Med. She's currently en route to Rome. Paltrow exec produced such small screen gems as The White Shadow and St. Elsewhere. His last project was directing Gwyneth in the 2000 feature Duets.
