Moonlight Fans Launch a Bloody-good Campaign

Moonlight have partnered with the Red Cross to mobilize the show's viewers to donate blood as a show of support for the vampire series that (still) is awaiting a second-season renewal. YouChoose.net, a hub for the effort, claims more than 4,000 pledges to donate a pint of blood have been received to date.
Moonlight returns to the CBS schedule on April 25 with four new episodes in the hopper. Ratings indicate that the Alex O'Loughlin-starrer has nothing to lose sleep over, but nonetheless, fans hope the blood drive seals the deal.
O'Loughlin is very much onboard with the fans' actions, and reportedly is
thisclose to being announced as a Red Cross spokesman. -
