Are two Mannys too many for the Pritchett-Delgado household?
We'll find out on ABC's Modern Family when Gloria (Sofia Vergara) hires a cute new male nanny to look after baby Joe. Adam DeVine (Comedy Central's Workaholics, Pitch Perfect) has been cast in the recurring role.
Executive producer Christopher Lloyd describes the manny as a nice guy from the Midwest who is "fun and matches Gloria's energy in the house. But he doesn't want to just take care of the baby. He wants to sort of revive the entire household, which leads to some territorial clashes with Jay [Ed O'Neill] and Manny [Rico Rodriguez]."
And it's not outside the realm of possibility that the new hire could catch the eye of Gloria's step-granddaughter, Haley (Sarah Hyland).
Modern Family's new season premieres Wednesday, Sept. 25.
