Minnie Driver Quits Twitter Over Body Bullying

Minnie Driver is fed up with the Twitter hate. 

The 44-year-old actress announced Wednesday that she was quitting the social network after photos of her in a bikini surfaced online and she became the target of hateful comments regarding her body.

Driver, who currently stars on NBC's About A Boy, was on vacation in Miami with her five-year-old son Henry when the photos were taken.

"You try being photographed when you don't know it's happening, when you're on holiday with your kids," she tweeted Wednesday. She then followed it up with another tweet announcing, "I'm out of this Twittersphere for awhile. It's too mean sometimes, about your body, about your soul. Not worth it."
