Microsoft Recruits Jerry Seinfeld for Big Mac Attack

Jerry Seinfeld by Ferdaus Shamim/ WireImage.com

Jerry Seinfeld will be the Justin Long to Microsoft's Apple.

The comedian has signed on to be Microsoft Corp.'s new celebrity spokesman, The Wall Street Journal reports.

Seinfeld, who last pitched for American Express (remember those Superman webisodes?), will appear in TV spots with chairman Bill Gates for a cool $10 million.

The venture is part of Microsoft's new $300 million advertising campaign aimed at overhauling its less-than-hip image.

The ads will begin airing Sept. 4 and will feature the 54-year-old yadda-yadda-yadda-ing a variation of the slogan, "Windows, Not Walls." - Joyce Eng
