Michelle Obama's initiative Joining Forces has shuttled her around pop culture, from Oprah to iCarly. The next stop on the Forces express will find her making her reality TV debut on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
According to People, the first lady will shoot an episode Thursday in Fayetteville, N.C., where she'll get her hands dirty by helping with an addition to a community resource center for female veterans. She specifically will work on a new greenhouse and children's play area for the center. The episode is expected to air in October.
Joining Forces is, per its site, "a national initiative that mobilizes all sectors of society to give our service members and their families the opportunities and support they have earned." The first lady founded it with Dr. Jill Biden.
