Dockery is set to star in TNT pilot Good Behavior, Variety reports. The drama comes from Wayward Pines creator Chad Hodge, and is based on the Letty Dobesh novels from author Blake Crouch (who also wrote the Wayward Pines book series).
Dockery will play the antihero protagonist, a thief and con artist just out of prison. When she overhears a plot for a hitman to kill a man's wife, she sets out to stop it, and in the process enters into a dicey but tempting relationship with the killer.
Well...it definitely doesn't sound like her
last TNT project Funny Or Die role on "Tough Justice," when she had issues letting go of her proper Lady Mary ways. Take a look:
The project comes as Downton Abbey is wrapping up its six-season run. Back in March executive producer Gareth Neame confirmed the plans to end the show and said at the time, "I think our theory is that it's good to quit while you're ahead... The show is so popular globally, but the danger with this sort of thing is to let them go on forever. The danger is that you run to seven, eight, nine, 10 years. ... But I think it's more important to us to make a perfectly formed show, in our opinion, that we bring to an end when we think the timing is right, and that people will love and remember that show for many, many years to come, and not feel that there was any sort of drop-off or we outstayed our welcome."
