One of The Good Wife's biggest nemeses may be headed back to court.

Michael J. Fox, who has earned three Emmy nominations for his performance as the manipulative attorney Louis Canning, may return to the acclaimed CBS drama this season.

"We're trying to make that work because he finished filming his show, so it looks like we're going to get a chance to get him back," co-creator and executive producer Robert King told reporters at Wednesday's Television Critics Association winter TV previews. "He and [Julianna Margulies] love working with each other."

Fox first appeared on the show back in Season 2, and currently stars on his own comedy, The Michael J. Fox Show on NBC.

King and his wife, co-creator and executive producer Michelle King, also revealed that Carrie Preston will return this season to reprise her Emmy-winning role as the crafty (and slightly kooky) Elsbeth Tascioni.

The Good Wife airs Sundays at 9/8c on CBS.
