And it got super weird
Meghan Trainor and Charlie Puth turned their American Music Awards performance into a high-class version of a middle school dance when they began shoving their tongues into each other's mouths like they were TLC reality stars.
Before they began slathering saliva all over each other, Trainor and Puth had performed their recent singles "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" and "Marvin Gaye." At the end of the duet, Trainor beckoned Puth towards her so she could slam her tongue halfway down his throat as though they were discount bar mitzvah impersonators of Britney and Madonna.
But don't get any ideas. They're just friends.
