Her smoking, drinking hard liquor for breakfast and appearing like this "artist" serial killer was just bizarre but shows off a little more of her Emmy-winning range. I did love that Joe — nice husband extraordinaire — got a spine and called his wife on her insensitive actions, especially when he becomes all superdad and understandably protective of his daughters. "I love you, but frankly you are scaring the hell out of me." He's totally got a point. I'd be completely freaked out if my spouse was taking on the traits of an actual murderer. Especially if he/she were stalking strange supermarket staffers, then talking about them as if they were next on a master list of victims that's just trouble in the making. I did think the last little scene with the entire family in bed was kinda adorable and made the rest of the unsettling episode more bearable. Oh, and not to be all nitpicky OK, this is a little nitpicky but Joe said that the only time he'd ever seen Allison play with dice was when she played Chutes and Ladders. I know it has been a while, but I checked online, and Chutes and Ladders, at least the version that is out now andwas out when I was baby-sitting in high school, has one of those little spinners and not dice. OK, that just proved that I have way too much time on my hands.
