There's not a lot of love going on for tennis star turned TV gabber John McEnroe and his CNBC talkfest, McEnroe. According to Nielsen Media Research, the show has twice registered a 0.0 rating, despite heavy promotion and plugs by parent company NBC. The show has had a hard time maintaining an audience from its lead-in Dennis Miller. At its lowest point, McEnroe averaged a measly 39,000 viewers. But CNBC executives aren't giving up on their latest offering. "When you're trying to do something as unique as we are during prime time, you have to look at it over time," CNBC senior vice president of prime time Bob Meyers told The Hollywood Reporter. "We want to hold on to our business-day audience, and expand upon that."
