The Big Bang Theory's Mayim Bialik was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital after getting in a car accident on Wednesday, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
An LAPD spokesperson said that Bialik's car was struck in a Hollywood intersection by a vehicle filled with three passengers. The 36-year-old Emmy nominee was then taken to a nearby hospital for injuries, while the passengers from the other car had minor injuries and were not transported.

"A representative close to her spoke with her and she is doing fine and will be returning to work tomorrow," a rep from Bialik's camp said in a statement. "She thanks everyone for their concern."
Though TMZ.com reported that the Blossom alum was in danger of losing her finger, Bialik took to Twitter to assure fans that she's OK. "(husband typing) In pain but will keep all my fingers," read a message on her Twitter account. "See pre accident me watch The Soup tonight lol."
Sources close to The Big Bang Theory tell TVGuide.com that Bialik's accident is not expected to impact production.
