Maya Rudolph is finally getting her variety show. Variety reports that Rudolph and Martin Short's Maya and Marty in Manhattan is a go at NBC.

The pickup comes after Neil Patrick Harris' NBC variety series Best Time Ever was dropped after one season. However, Rudolph has been planning a variety series for some time: The SNL alum hosted her own variety special in 2014 on the peacock network.

Lorne Michaels will executive-produce the series, but an episode order hasn't been set. Rudolph, Short and Matt Roberts (Late Show with David Letterman) will produce.

The show will be a weekly live combination of music numbers, sketches and celebrity guests, and will be filmed inside NBC's headquarters at 30 Rock in New York City.
