Mason Cook Cast as Eddie in NBC's Munsters Reboot

Spy Kids 4 star Mason Cook has been cast as Eddie Munster in the NBC Munsters reboot, Mockingbird Lane, Deadline reports.
Cook's Eddie Munster will be Lily and Herman Munster's only child — a budding werewolf and Boy Scout. As previously reported, Eddie Izzard will star in the pilot as Grandpa the Vampire, and Charity Wakefield will portray the role of Marilyn, the "normal" Munster cousin.

Written by Bryan Fuller (Pushing Daisies), the pilot will reinterpret the popular 1960s sitcom depicting the home life of a family of vampires, werewolves and Frankenstein. The project will be directed by Bryan Singer (X-Men, Superman Returns).
Aside from his role in Spy Kids, Cook was a recurring character on ABC's The Middle. He is set to star in the upcoming films The Incredible Burt Wonder and The Lone Ranger.
