Mary-Louise Parker will recur on The Blacklist's second season.

The former Weeds star will appear as Naomi Highlind, a character who creatorJon Bokenkamp described at Comic-Con on Saturday as "completely tied to Reddington," according to Deadline.

Could Parker's character be tied to Red's secret relationship with Elizabeth (Megan Boone)? Bokenkamp refused to reveal any more details about Naomi, and when asked whether the hat-happy criminal was possibly Keen's father, he responded: "The question of who is Reddington to Elizabeth Keen is the central conceit to the show, but we're really not going to answer that."

"The second season I think portends even more as the show sort of blew up at the end of the season and allowed the second season to become more expansive," James Spader said. "We start to learn little bit more about Reddington and his mythological history."

This is the second NBC gig Parker has booked this week: She will also star on the network's upcoming miniseries The Slap

The Blacklist returns Monday, Sept. 22 at 9/8c.
