Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj
It looks like there might not be enough room at the American Idol judges table for both Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj.
After video showing Minaj cursing out Carey during an Idol taping surfaced Wednesday on TMZ, the "Fantasy" singer opened about the argument to The View's Barbara Walters.

In a phone interview that took place prior to The View's Thursday taping, Walters says Carey told her that several people overheard Minaj say, "If I had a gun, I would shoot the b----." Carey told Walters that she has since hired extra security because Minaj is "unpredictable" and she "can't take a chance." Carey also said she "doesn't feel comfortable emotionally," but plans to remain on the show.
According to Walters, Carey claims the argument took place Tuesday when they clashed over a contestant's audition in Charlotte, N.C. The next morning, both women met with producers and although Minaj did not apologize, Carey says Minaj told her, "I love you, but we might fight again." Carey said she responded, "No, we will not."

Minaj responded to the claims via Twitter Thursday. "I don't call TMZ [and] Barbara Walters [because] I stand on my own two feet. Never needed an army. God is good. Insecurity is as cruel as the grave," Minaj tweeted. "I guess it hurts to have the producers tell you to your face that Nicki is the best judge we've had since Simon. Aw, poor you. Keep them lies [coming]."
She also added later in the day: "Hey y'all. Let's just say Nicki said [something] about a gun. People will believe it [because] she's a black rapper. Lmao. I'll then hit up Barbara and milk it."
