Maria Shriver, who in 2003 took an extended leave from NBC News when hubby Arnold Schwarzenegger ran for governor of Cali and since then has twice anchored Dateline, says the media's sensationalized coverage of Anna Nicole Smith's death has soured her on ever resuming her newsgathering career. "It was then that I knew that the TV-news business had changed, and so had I," Shriver said Tuesday at the annual California Governor and First Lady's Conference on Women. "I called NBC News and told them I'm not coming back." She then got behind the wheel of a pickup truck and did not drive through the front door of the Peacock's front offices.
