Chicago insurance salesman Michael David Barrett is accused of shooting videos of Andrews through peepholes at hotels in Nashville, Tenn., Columbus, Ohio and Milwaukee, Wis. He is also accused of attempting to sell the footage to TMZ.com.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Carolyn Turchin ordered Barrett, who was released on $100,000 bond, to serve house arrest with electronic monitoring and to have no internet access.
Barrett's trial is scheduled to begin on Jan. 12. He faces up to five years in federal prison if convicted.
