The man accused of stalking Ryan Seacrest has pleaded not guilty to stalking the American Idol host and E! News anchor.

Chidi Uzomah pleaded not guilty to one count of felony stalking and two misdemeanor counts of violating an earlier court order to stay away from Seacrest. Uzomah has been ordered to stay 500 feet away from Seacrest, as well as his places of employment, for the next three years effective immediately, according to the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Man suspected of stalking Ryan Seacrest arrested

Uzomah, 25, was arrested Friday after attempting to enter a facility at the Los Angeles offices of E! Entertainment Television, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

He was arrested in September after police said he attacked one of Seacrest's bodyguards and tried to get into a car with Seacrest. He later pleaded guilty to three misdemeanors, including assault, battery and carrying a switchblade knife, according to documents obtained by The Associated Press.

Uzomah is next due in court Nov. 16 for a preliminary hearing. Seacrest's lawyer, Blair Berk, refused to comment.
