Kanye West, Madonna Kanye West, Madonna

We all know Kanye West thinks highly of himself. Apparently, Madonna thinks highly of him too.

"Kanye is the new Madonna," the singer told the Daily News. "Kanye is the black Madonna."

Madonna compares ageism she faces to racism or homophobia

In a wide-ranging interview, Madonna, whose new album "Rebel Heart" drops Tuesday, goes on to talk about the relationship between herself and West, who collaborated on three of the album's tracks, and how they both love to push people's buttons. "We know, and recognize, that we have that in common," she said. "We're comrades in the envelope-pushing genre."

It was at last month's Grammys that both artists made headlines for different reasons. While West went on a post-show rant about Beck not deserving his award, Madonna shocked people pre-show by lifting her dress and flashing her butt. About those reactions, she bluntly said, "Bitch, this is what my ass looks like — show me what your ass looks like when you're 56."

Still, Madonna admits words still get to her. "I'm only human. I'd like to get to the point where nothing can shake me. Sometimes I'm there, sometimes I'm not."
