Mackenzie Phillips faces two felony drug charges in connection with her Aug. 27 arrest for allegedly carrying narcotics through Los Angeles International Airport, the Los Angeles District Attorney told TVGuide.com. The actress was formally charged with two felony counts for possession of a controlled substance for heroin and cocaine on Wednesday, spokesperson Jane Robison said. Phillips was also hit with a misdemeanor charge for unauthorized possession of a needle or syringe. If convicted, the 48-year-old could face "a couple years" in prison, but because it is her first offense, she's eligible for a variety of drug rehab programs in lieu of serving time, Robison said.
