I'm with them.

In June, it was announced that Lynda Carter, best known for playing Wonder Woman on the 1970s TV series of the same name, would be joining Supergirl in its second season as the President of the United States. Last night, Supergirl star Melissa Benoist shared the first look at Carter on the show, posting a photo of the two superheroines together on the Supergirl set.

"Met a wonderful woman today," Benoist cleverly captioned the photo.

Carter's POTUS will be a recurring character in Season 2, with her first appearance coming in episode 3. She's one of a few notable guest stars on Supergirl's first season on The CW: Supergirl's cousin Superman will show up and be played by Tyler Hoechlin; and Calista Flockhart's Cat Grant will move from series regular to recurring.

Supergirl returns Monday, Oct. 10 at 8/7c on The CW.
