Lawless and her fellow protestors scaled the 175-foot Noble Discoverer drilling tower at Port Taranaki on Friday to protest its planned oil-drilling in the Chukchi Sea off the coast of Alaska. The vessel had been scheduled to leave over the weekend."This chapter has ended, but the story of the battle to save the Arctic has just begun," Lawless said in a statement before being arrested. "Seven of us climbed up that drillship to stop Arctic drilling, but 133,000 of us came down."The seven protestors are due in court Thursday.
