The misspellings were clues leading to the name...William Atherton.
In order of the clues: Atherton was in both Die Hardand Die Hard 2,his character's name in Ghost Busterswas Walter Peck, on Desperate Housewives he played Dr. Barr and the 62-year-old actor was also Charlie Crews' nemesis on Life.
