Olympian Lindsey Vonn was injured on the slopes Tuesday after crashing during a training session, Peoplereports.

"Lindsey crashed earlier this morning while training at Copper Mountain in Colorado. She was not admitted to the hospital and is currently being evaluated by Dr. Sterett back in Vail," Vonn's rep told the magazine. "We expect to have clarity on the situation in the next 24 hours. We will provide updates when we know more and appreciate your patience."

Lindsey Vonn may recover in time for 2014 Winter Olympics

Vonn, 29, underwent major surgery on her right knee earlier this year after she crashed in the super G during world championships in February. In addition to physical therapy, she has been training extensively in hopes of being able to compete in the 2014 Winter Olympics, which start in February.

Vonn, who won a gold and a bronze medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics, was expected to return to competition on Nov. 29 in Beaver Creek, Colo. ''I want to make sure that I've done what I want to do in my sport. I don't want to leave skiing early,'' she told the Associated Press back in August. ''I want to feel like I've done everything I can do. So, we'll see.''
