Lindsey Vonn: Depression Made Me Feel "Like a Zombie"

Skier Lindsey Vonn has revealed that she suffers from depression that was once so crippling that she "couldn't get out of bed." "I felt hopeless, empty, like a zombie," Vonn, 28, tells People about a period of time in 2008. "Everything about my life seemed so perfect to people. But I struggle like everyone else."

Vonn said she currently takes an antidepressant to keep her symptoms in check. But now things are looking up for the Olympic gold medalist, who filed for divorce from her husband/manager/coach, Thomas Vonn, last year.

"All the parts of my life are finally in sync," she tells People. "I accept who I am, and I'm moving forward."
