Lindsay Lohan's Probation Ends; Judge Warns Her to "Stop the Nightclubbing"

Lindsay Lohan

Almost five years after her first DUI arrest, Lindsay Lohan's probation came to a close in a Los Angeles courtroom Thursday, People reports.

"She has done everything this court has asked of her," Judge Stephanie Sautner said, according to the magazine.

Lindsay Lohan: Confirmation of Elizabeth Taylor role is imminent

As of Thursday, Lohan is no longer required to appear in court or report to a probation officer since completing more than 50 days of janitorial duty at the L.A. County morgue and 18 therapy sessions. However, the 25-year-old actress did receive one last warning from Judge Sautner. "You need to live your life in a more mature way," the judge said. "Stop the nightclubbing and focus on your work. I don't expect to see you again."

Added Sautner: "It's not that hard [to stay out of trouble]," she said. "I know it's hard when you have people following you all over the place, but that's the life you chose."

Lohan, in turn, thanked the judge. "I just want to say thank you for being fair. It's opened a lot of doors for me, so I really appreciate it."

Glee snags Lindsay Lohan, Whoopi Goldberg for guest roles

Although she has satisfied the terms of her probation for her two DUI arrests in 2007, Lohan will continue to serve informal probation until May 24, 2014 for misdemeanor theft — a charge she pled no contest to last year after she allegedly took a $2,500 necklace. Until then, if Lohan breaks a law, she could face a 245-day jail sentence.

"Lindsay is ending one chapter and getting ready to start the next," her rep Steve Honig said in a statement obtained by People. "She is very eager to get back on set and jump into her next few projects."

Among those projects are an upcoming cameo as herself on Glee and playing Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime movie about the famed actress' relationship with actor Richard Burton. Lohan also recently hosted Saturday Night Live.
