Lindsay Lohan is facing more legal trouble: The actress is being investigated for an alleged misdemeanor battery charge against a Betty Ford staffer, The Associated Press reports.

According to Riverside County sheriff's Deputy Herlinda Valenzuela, officers responded to a call from the Betty Ford Center, where Lohan is being treated. A female staffer reportedly had a dispute with Lohan and wanted to pursue charges. No arrests have been made.

Lindsay Lohan fails drug test, says she's prepared for consequences

In October, the 24-year-old actress was ordered to her fifth stint in rehab until Jan. 3 after failing a court-ordered drug test. She's due back in court Feb. 25 and is subject to random drug testing in between her release from rehab and the court date. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden Fox told her at the October hearing that any violation will result in a mandatory 180-day jail sentence.

The recent ruling marked the fourth time Lohan avoided jail from a 2007 DUI charge. She served 84 minutes that year and then 13 days of a 90-day sentence this summer for violating probation, after which she attended a drug-rehab program.
