The Oscars still don't have a host for next February's show, but we'd humbly submit that the above video of Lin-Manuel Miranda and Billy Eichner should earn the honor of opening the 2019 broadcast.

For the latest episode of Billy on the Street, Eichner and the Mary Poppins Returns star stopped unsuspecting New Yorkers to ask a simple question: Is anybody happy?

In a twist, many of those politely accosted were, especially once they realized Miranda was standing in front of them. (One woman confessed to listening to Miranda's hit musical Hamilton at the very moment of Billy on the Streeting.) As always with Eichner's bit, not everyone was interested in being part of the fun, but we'd be remiss if we didn't highlight the woman at the 2:30 mark who calls out Miranda because Hamilton is such a hard ticket to acquire. "I apply every day on the stupid app to win tickets and I never do," she said. "So you're out of sight and out of mind because I'll never ever see that show." To which Eichner replied, "You tell him, bitch!"
